“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

Hello and Welcome, I am so glad that you are here.

My name is Inga Green a licensed and ordained Baptist Minister, and the Founder of Wings of Hope & Heart. This blog is the beginning of something I’ve carried in my heart for a long time: creating a safe, faith-led space where compassion, healing, and hope can be shared. I’m launching this blog during Domestic Violence Awareness Month because I believe the church has a vital role in breaking silence, supporting survivors, and bringing God’s healing love into places of pain.

If you’re reading this, I want you to know: you are not alone. Too often, survivors of domestic violence
feel invisible, even within faith communities. My hope is that this blog becomes a reminder that God
sees you, values you, and desires healing for you. For faith leaders, I pray these posts equip you with
both encouragement and practical tools to respond with compassion and action.

Together, we will walk with compassion, hope, and action. This is just the beginning — and I’m
honored to share this journey with you. If this encouraged you, I invite you to subscribe below so you never miss a reflection or resource.

Peace I leave with You,

Inga
